Puccini's La Boheme, with libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica, will follow, February 23-March 9. Giacomo Sagripanti will conduct, and Joan Font will direct. Daniela Pini will star as Angelina, with Tamara Mumford playing the role at select performances. In the new year, Seattle Opera will present La Cenerentola (January 12-16), with music by Gioachino Rossini, and libretto by Jacopo Ferretti.

Asher Fisch will conduct, with stage direction by Chris Alexander. Christiane Libor leads the cast as Leonore, with Clifton Forbis as Florestan. Next will be Ludwig van Beethoven's Fidelio (October 13-27), featuring libretto by Joseph von Sonnleithner, with revisions by Stephan Von Breuning and Georg Friedrich Trietschke. Asher Fisch will conduct, with stage direction by Renaud Doucet. Lori Phillips will play the title role, with Marcy Stonikas performing as Turandot at select performances. The season will begin with Turandot (August 4-18), featuring music by Giacomo Puccini, and libretto by Giuseppe Adami and Renato Simoni. Performances will take place in Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.
